Amazing Beneficial Contributors/Apple Top 50 Teacher Gala

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

                  for Amazing Beneficial Contributors/Apple Top 50 Teacher Award Ceremony

The “ABCs” ... Amazing-Beneficial-Contributor to Society/Apple award will honor the Top 50 educators in Memphis, TN. The nominees must have made a positive change in their educational setting and community by Bee TrU Awareness Outreach, Inc. mission. A nominee must have demonstrated the ability to educate, elevate, and empower students, their families, and co-workers. The recipients will be honored May 9, 2020 by Bee TrU & Tim Sherrod, LLC.

The nomination process will start December 1, 2019 ending January 31, 2020. Nominees will be informed via email 60 days prior to the scheduled event. Follow Bee Tru on Facebook for details.

*The nominee must currently be a teacher in Memphis, TN grades K-12 for at least one year -Or- a retired teacher (only 2 educators will be selected from this category) 

​

When nomination open you will submit a detailed narrative of 200 words (exceeding the amount will disqualify your nominee) using the online nomination and email a copy of the educator’s school ID (for verification only), and his or her professional head shot photo (passport size on white background). 

​

The narrative should include what makes or made (retired teacher) the nominee an Amazing Beneficial Contributing Teacher. The essay should highlight the nominee’s community service/community-building skills, strong work ethic, organizational skills, friendliness, listening/communication skills, knowledge and passion for their students. OTHER information can include his or her sense of humor, flexibility, leadership, classroom management, other work experience, and ability to multitask.
